Smoothie Bowl Packs with Granola

This is less of a finished meal-prep dish and more of a system for making smoothie bowls fast, prepping the fruit in freezer packs so all that's left each morning is blending. It saves the step of chopping and measuring out fruit every single day.

Freezing the fruit in individual packs means each morning is just a matter of dumping one bag into the blender instead of measuring anything out fresh. Greek yogurt kept separate adds protein once it's blended in.

This is one of the more hands-on breakfasts at the moment of eating, since it needs an actual blender rather than just being grabbed from the fridge. Granola and chia seeds on top add crunch that a smoothie alone wouldn't have.

The recipe card has the full ingredient breakdown for the entire ten-portion batch. Freeze the fruit packs and store the yogurt, granola, and chia seeds separately, then blend fresh each morning with a splash of milk.

ESTIMATED NUTRITION

415 calories • 17g protein • 74g carbs • 8g fat per portion

What I really like about this recipe is that it turns the most tedious part of smoothie-making into a one-time prep session.

Ingredients

• 15 cups frozen mixed berries

• 10 bananas, sliced and frozen

• 5 cups Greek yogurt

• 3 cups granola

• 2 tbsp chia seeds

• freezer bags for fruit packs

• blender

• milk to blend

Directions

1. Divide the frozen berries and banana into 10 freezer bags or containers as smoothie packs.

2. Store the Greek yogurt, granola, and chia seeds separately.

3. When ready to eat, blend one fruit pack with a portion of yogurt and a splash of milk until smooth.

4. Top with granola and chia seeds just before eating.

Meal-prep notes: Freeze the fruit packs, and refrigerate the yogurt, granola, and chia seeds separately. Use refrigerated yogurt within 4–5 days; fruit packs keep well in the freezer for weeks. Blend fresh each time. Nutrition is estimated per portion.
