Breakfast Quinoa Bowls with Almond Butter and Berries
This is my quinoa take on breakfast porridge, using it in place of oats for something with a bit more protein built in. Almond butter and berries on top make it feel more like a treat than a plain bowl of grains.
Quinoa has more protein than oats on its own, which is part of why this keeps me fuller longer than my usual overnight oats. Warming it with milk and cinnamon turns it into something closer to a porridge than a plain grain bowl.
Almond butter swirled in adds richness and healthy fats, while the berries bring natural sweetness so I don't need much honey on top. This is a good option for anyone who wants a change from the usual oat-based breakfasts.
The recipe card has the full ingredient breakdown for the entire ten-portion batch. Let everything cool before dividing it into containers, then refrigerate what you'll eat within four days. Add a splash of milk when reheating to loosen it back up.
