Kielbasa and Cabbage Skillet
This is a one-pan meal that leans on kielbasa's smoky flavor to season the cabbage and potatoes without much extra seasoning needed. It's about as low-effort as meal prep gets, since there's no sauce to make and everything cooks in the same pan.
Kielbasa brings enough smoky, salty flavor on its own that the cabbage and potatoes barely need seasoning beyond a splash of vinegar at the end. Searing the sausage first means the fat left behind flavors everything else that goes into the pan.
Cabbage cooks down significantly, so it looks like a lot more volume than it ends up being once it's wilted into the pan. That volume drop is worth planning for when you're deciding how much to make.
The recipe card has the full ingredient list and cook time for all ten portions. Let everything cool before sealing the containers, then refrigerate what you'll eat within four days and freeze the rest. This kielbasa and cabbage skillet is one of the easiest one-pan meals in my rotation.

What I really like about this recipe is how much flavor the kielbasa brings to the cabbage and potatoes without extra seasoning.
Ingredients
• 3 3/4 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced
• 10 cups shredded cabbage
• 5 cups potatoes, cubed
• 2 1/2 onion, sliced
• 2 1/2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 1/2 tsp caraway seeds
• salt and pepper
• 2 1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Directions
1. Sear the kielbasa in a large pan until browned; set aside.
2. Cook the potatoes and onion in the same pan until the potatoes begin to soften, about 10 minutes.
3. Add the cabbage and cook until wilted; return the kielbasa and stir in the vinegar.
4. Let the food cool briefly, then divide it evenly among 10 airtight meal-prep containers.
Meal-prep notes: Refrigerate promptly and use refrigerated portions within 3–4 days; freeze any portions you will not eat in that window. Reheat hot meals until steaming and 165°F internally. Nutrition is estimated per portion.
